Lost Young Teen

Idea of the type of film i want to do, but am not sure yet if i wanna do it or not, because i need some time to think of a good idea

Plot  . . .

A young teenager boy who is getting kidnapped by a serial killer, his father is a police cop.


It was early in the morning, Adam was strolling to school with his mate. Adams mate was walking fast listening to his music and not caring about whats happening around him whereas Adam was two steps away from his mate, Danny. 
Whilst Danny &Adam were strolling to school, two other men were behind them but both these teens do not realise this as their in their own world, Then suddenly. . .  Adam screams out loud.
Two days later, Danny comes to Adams father and tells him what has happened and Adams father shutters when he is hearing what Danny says, and is seriously shocked, at first he doesn't believe Danny but then he goes and searches for the killer. However, it was hard for the father to find the killer as it wasn't easy to discover who was the one who kidnapped his son. It was near to evening and the father (Police Cop) got really frustrated, he had no other option but needed help so he asked help from other police cops to help him out but they promised him that they will look at the case in few days as they were busy investigating two other crimes. However we don't know if this young boy, Adam is alive or dead. 
Adams sister, Sarah is from a care home as she had been through a lot of problems since she was a teenager so shes been away from her parents and siblings for 3 years and is with other people who are in the same position as her but misses her parents a lot but has no other option but to stay there, however somehow she finds out about her brother Adam and is shocked, Sarah faints . . . 
During the evening, Sarah is taken to hospital and her parents had no other option but to come and see their daughter as she was really unwell, twenty minutes later Sarah opens her eyes and sees her parents in front of her, she has a slight smile on her face and Sarah's parent were happy to see her after such a long time.
Doctor tells Sarah's parents that she's better now after seeing you lot and can get dismissed, Sarah's parents are happy.


One week later, the police cop contacts Adams dad and tells him that your son is found but he has been hurt severely and Adams dad panics. The police takes Adam to the hospital to see what is wrong with him, Adams parent also rushes towards the hospital as they are panicking to see their son. The doctors starts checking his heart to see if he's breathing or not. the doctors investigated that Adam wasn't breathing properly and also he had a head injury and they told Adams parents that they will try and save his son in the next 24 hours. Adams mum was crying out loud saying 'Please save my son'.


The police try to investigate who these serial killers were that attacked Adam so they look around the place to see if their is any evidence. The police couldn't find any evidence so they couldn't carry out the investigation, so they had no other option but to leave it.
After two hours, the doctors who were looking after Adam who was hurt severely, they had to tell Adams parent bad news  . . .  Your son is no more

Short Film

OffSide

I chose this short film because it's interesting and also it focuses on world events, For example; football and i adore football.

This is a great short film from Israeli filmmakers Eraz Tadmor and Guy Native. Its Set on the border between Israel and the Palestinian territory, It focuses on two Israeli soldiers are patrolling the fence while listening to the World Cup Final on a portable radio. They then come across two Palestinians armed with machine guns.

I chose this video because it's a simple short film and also its original and the story plot is really interesting and the scenes flow well together. However, the audience would prefer to watch short films and to make a good short film i would need good skills by being imaginative and before i  start to think about what i wanna do, i need to be prepared fully.

The Letter: (La Lettre (The Letter), By Michel Gondry)

This is a romance short film and in this film we find a boy who is obsessed with the girl he loves but fretting about making a move on her. His brother's exhortations do not help and young love proves a painful experience in the end.I chose this film because i like the genre and also the story plot is interesting.

A2 MEDIA STUDIE'S:RESEARCH

My first choice would be a music video as it will be interesting. i will also learn something new as I've never tried to make a music video so i think it will be amazing to make a music video of my own working with my peers.
The skills i would need to do this is good imaginative thinking so i have a good music video which the audience would prefer and also to not make it copyright, as in copying other music videos from other singers or other peoples work; so before i start i need to prepare myself and think of what i wanna do and how I'm going to do it.  Preparation is a key skill.

My second choice would be a film/soap trailer as i know how to make one as i done it for AS, i will be confident as i have experienced it before an d also i will know what am doing. However this time i wold make it more interesting and have a good clear meaning to my film. T o make a good opening scene of a soap trailer i need a good scene so the audience has a clear understanding of what is happening and also to do this i will need to prepare myself and make a plan of idea's before i start anything so i know what I'm doing.

My last choice would be a documentary or short film i wouldn't mind to do any of them as they are interesting and also many audiences would prefer it. I think it will be challenging but fun at the same time as its hard to decide what you wanna do. When making a documentary i would need good ideas and also general knowledge of what I'm gonna do and having the responsibility to do what is needed for a successful documentary.

EDiiTING

Editing:
Editing is the process of selecting and preparing written, visual, audible and film media used to convey information through the processes of correction, condensation, organization and other modifications performed with an intention of producing a correct consistent,accurate and complete work.
In todays generation, Editing is quick/cheap and also easy to use.


Analogue Technology . . .

• Initial Editing of all films was done with positive copy of the films, Negative film workprint.
• This was done physically cutting and pasting together pieces of film, Using a splicer and threading the film on a mchine.
• In the past, the use of film positive allowed the director to do as much experiment as he or she wished, Without the risk of damaging the original.

Limitations . . .

• Had to be very skilled to do edit properly
• Fake like: Didnt seem realistic
• Splicing damaged the original, The loss of quality.
• Analog tape can be erased or destroyed accidentally and this can happen at the worst time.

Advantage's  . . .

• The recording does not degrade over time. As long as the numbers can be read, You will always get exactly the same wave.

Mass Audience Theory

The time i've been influenced by the media was an advert on tv. The advert influenced me to buy the product. The product was a shampoo named elvive, i bought the product and the way it was shown on tv it wasn't seen the same when i used it.The other product that influenced me was foundation, it told me it would keep my skin look clear and pure and no spots will show but it wasnt seen the same when i applied the product so this persuaded me to buy the product which i regreted after.

In my opinion, the mass audeince theorie is the communication between a large number of people in a short time period through television, magazine, newspapers and radio. I think that the audience may be influenced by the media easily through the product they see on internet,tv or posters they get influenced by it quickly due to how the product is shown and it emphasise their intrest towards the product.
