analyse of once upon a time in the west . . .

The film features long, slow scenes in which there is very little dialogue and little happens, broken by brief and sudden violence. There is lots of sounds whic sound kind of annoying.

The tone of the film is consistent with the arid semi-desert in which the story unfolds, and imbues it with a feeling of realism that contrasts with the elaborately choreographed gunplay.

the sounds throughout the movie are loud and disturbing, however the images used show different types of shot that is presented for example; close-up shot & long shot.
However the film was successful and was the most prosperity in the western films that was made.
